Before she established her namesake fabric line in 2007, Lisa Fine was already a well-traveled textiles designer who often drew inspiration from India and the Middle East. Today her pattern rich collection reflects a deep curiosity for history and culture, which are well researched as part of her design process. Through the arduous process of testing and refining, Lisa Fine takes time to develop each of her designs, ensuring qualities such as optimal coloring. The designs are then hand-printed on high grade linen in Switzerland, U.K, and the U.S. Lisa Fine fabrics stand out for being intricate, elegant, and sometimes imbued with gentle playfulness. On mixing patterns, the textile expert says, ““Go with what you love and you’ll usually find a place for it. Don’t be afraid to break the rules.”
