BLITHFIELD
When Anne Dubbs and Elizabeth Downing met through a mutual friend, they immediately found many things in common, including a passion for design. In 1997, the duo went on to create Blithfield. Today, the company is known for their extensive range of beautifully printed and woven designs, notably the Peggy Angus collection which features bright, bold and playful patterns. Blithfield aims to create versatile, enduring designs that can be incorporated in both contemporary and traditional settings. On the development of their growing collection, creative director Anne Dubbs says, “…It’s always about retaining the artisan quality of the Blithfield Collection, overall. We always aim for a certain point of view and to have new designs work well the existing collection. A constant effort to have pattern, color, and character working together.”
